"We use Barcode Magician (BCM) for shipping, receiving and generating reports(worksheets, etc.) for our lab. Every tool we receive is logged into Met Track using BCM. We apply a barcode sticker to every tool after assigning control numbers. Then we scan the tools and generate a receiver sheet and worksheets for each order. These barcodes also speed up our data entry for Met Cal when we calibrate the tools. When an order is tested and ready to ship, every tool is scanned into BCM as they are placed in a shipping package. Finally, a shipping report is generated and verified to ensure every item on our receiver sheet has been shipped. The new counter feature on the entry screen has made our shipping and receiving process much more user-friendly. We are very happy to have BCM and I can't imagine going back to our previous method of shipping and receiving."
